Our initiatives of Carbon Neutral
Our goals are 50% reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and to reduce them to zero by 2050.
One of our initiatives to achive the goals is to install 4830㎡ solar panels on the rooftop in our new plant completed on August, 2022.
We keep trying our best to reduce environmental burden in order to realize sustainable and comfortable future.
Scraps recycle
We used to disposal our scraps of non-woven fabric by thermal recycle.
However, by seeking sustainability, we succeeded in carrying out the process which our scraps are recycled into river bank reinforcement materials and revetment sheets with our teammembers cooperation. The production of this material does not increase profit ratios, and the processing time does not differ significantly from that of virgin material. However, since it is expected to reduce CO² emissions more by manufacturing from recycled material, we decided to proceed with this initiative from the perspective of environmental friendliness.
Due to processing capacity and demand, even though it accounts for only about 7% of the waste materials, we annually converts about 50 tons of the waste materials into products. In recognition of this, it received the Incentive Award at the 5th EcoPro Awards (to be held in 2022).
