Started producing hemp mosquito net at Nagahama.

The business with Mitsui-Echigo-Gofuku Shop(Former Mitsukoshi) started.
In later Edo era, Zenjiro Otsuka established a branch family to succeed mosquito net business.

Mosquite net started being produced by Machine at the current location.

The organization was incorporated to become Otsuka mosquito net Co.,Ltd.

Developed cocoon short-fiber as an alternative of wool.(Army’s Supervising factory)

Started automatic production of silk wadding (Army’ supervising factory)

With the growing production line, Ohtsuka changed the name to “Ohtsuka sangyo CO., LTD.”
Developed FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) which made of a cocoon short fiber with synthetic tecnology and manufactured a handle of airplane.
(A factory of Army Air Forces)

Participated in Japan national baseball game several consecutive times.

Along with decontrol of fiber products, we restarted producing Kaya bedding products and suppling to Department stores, including Mitsukoshi.
Being selected as a factory for National Police Reserve(what is now called Ministry of defense) and supplied Kaya nad bedding products.

Began to export to Europe by developing the first mass production system of cloth wallpaper in Japan.

Toyota Motors CO., designated a polyethylene film yarn which Ohtsuka developed as an alternative of a jute yarn.

Started suppling the yarn which Ohtsuka mentioned above through Takashimaya Nippatsu Kogyo CO., and Arakawa shatai Kogyo CO.,
Seijiro Ohtsuka took over business as a new president after former president, Atsutaro Ohtsuka, passed away.

Delivered directly polyethylene sandbag to U.S. Eight Army.

Started producting sheet covers for Toyota Motors CO.,

Requiered by Technological department of Toyota Motors CO., and we developed airbag.

Started producing headlinings for Toyota and delivering automobile parts for Bridgestone
and Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. etc.

Opened sales office in Tokyo and Osaka.
Delivered textile wallpaper produced with integrated production for Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. 

Our wall papers were designated by Toyota Housing Corporation of Toyota(Toyota Motors Co.,).
Developed plywood and started saling them to MITSUI & CO., LTD. and Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd. as exclusive Distributors.

Began delivering wallpapers for housing business Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd.

Started delivering wallpapers for Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.

Started delivering wallpapers for Tobishima Corporation.

Started delivering wallpapers for Toyota and manufacturing child sheet covers for several customers, including Toyota.
Opened sales office in Nogoya.

Splited into four companies, Ohtsuka sangyo creates, Ohtsuka sangyo sewing, Ohtsuka sangyo material and Ohtsuka sangyo interior.

Established 嘉興奥津佳特種紡織品有限公司, a joint venture, in China.

Established an office of sewing/ Technique for headrest in Takahama, Nagoya.

Molding plant in Nagahama started running
and manufacturing prototypes with 3D-CAD.

Established Toyohashi Plant for headrest sewing.

Established Thailand plant in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Thailand.
Celebrated the 300th anniversary of establishment.

嘉興奥津佳特種紡織品有限公司 was moved to a new plant.

Being selected by Companies Driving Regional Growth.
Established OHTSUKA SANGYO MATERIAL VIETNAM CO.,LTD in Hanoi Ha Nam porvince, Vietnam.

Received the METI Minister’s Award in JAPAN PACKAGING CONTEST 2018.

Obtained one star of the Shiga Prefecture Certification System for Companies Promoting the Active Participation of Women.

Established Plant 2 in Vietnam.

Established Ohtsuka America, INC. in Novi, State of Michigan, the U.S.

Moved our plant to Azai, Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan along with expanding our business.
